I counted 12 people at the Salthill game there.....
I, for one, fully support our Kim Jong-il-like approach to releasing information about the club.
Maybe such grievances should be raised via the Supporters' Club at this stage if people feel strongly enough about their offers of help being ignored. Maybe nothing will happen but at least it would have been raised with the club.
We're gone too far off topic now I think so splitting the thread is probably necessary.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Fair enough. I'm Dublin based so I'm not really in the loop these days.

Termonbarry Athletic TID!
442 at CCS tonight, dreadful attendance again. Credit to the 40-50 harps fans or so that traveled made good noise at times
There was minimum double that amount of Harps fans. There were at least 50 behind the nets, and another 30 or so in the main stand.
Absolutely dreadful attendance indeed from Longford. CCS is in poor shape as well, seats all broken and cracked and seen much better days. Whole thing rusted and awful looking. If ever a place needed a roof, or better care, it's that stadium.
I've seen Longford fans giving out about Finn Park, but honestly, I'd be looking much closer to home before giving out about Harps.

That's actually laughable. CCS is one of the best grounds in the country yes it needs a roof for away fans but that is on the cards if we can finally secure some grant money. Ballybofey isn't even a stadium compared to it. Hope he get the new ground sorted but apparently that's hit problems? Pats, Dundalk and Sligo fans have all praised the facilities at CCS this season.
I'll stand by what I said.
A few points:
The only toilet facilities in the ground are under the main stand. What happens during segregation?
The lack of any hot food, all the crisps and minerals you want, but nothing else.
The seats are all cracked, broken, rusted and in poor shape. I understand that's simply because it's exposed but it doesn't look like much is done to help it at all.
I've said it before, it has serious potential to be one of the great stadiums in the league, but there's too much that lets it down. I'm not going to compare it to Finn Park, we're all aware up here that we've probably one of the worst stadiums in the league of Ireland, that's why we're building a new one.

Re: Toilet facilities, like Turners and Oriel and most away grounds we have portallos when segregation is in place.
Hot food is a premier division requirement and we have had at least 1 chipper if not 2 (one for away fans) at all our premier games this season.
The seats were getting broke by footballs hence the nets which not only make the place look tidy they also keep the time lost chasing footballs to a minimum.
Finally as stated earlier plans for a roof for away fans are on a list of stadium priorities for the club but as we all know money doesn't fall from the sky
