Didn't realise the stand held that amount, it is quite a high structure though, ok that prob adds up now, what would the split be home and away, 800+400 ?

Would have said around 300-350 away fans as Rovers brought around 400-500 and it filled both sections whereas there was still plenty of space there last night. Stand is always hard to gauge as its so high but I'd say 1200 is right

If anyone is able to correct estimates with official attendances from Longford, Derry, Drogheda and Wexford that'd be most helpful.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.

Noticed a good few Dlk fans in the main stand when we scored, but your right, I saw photo of rovers visit and they did take up both sections. 350 max away prob right last night.

Just something we thought of last night, and I'm sure it's been discussed locally. As you completely by pass the town to go to the match, this reduces the chance of the floating fan deciding at the last min or late in the day to go to the match.

Would a club coach service from the town centre work? to try and entice more local support?

I think it was before my time but maybe the lads can correct me, I think that's something that was tried for a while but never took off. Personally I prefer the out of town approach as it means no traffic and it keeps the scumbags hanging around town away.

It was tried for a while years back in the early Kenny era I believe but for whatever reason it wasn't deemed a success. Financial reasons most likely. Not sure if it'd make much difference but you never know I suppose.

When marketed properly JP's bus does be a great success, for the league winning game last season it took 3 runs to get everyone to the ground.

Just arrived at the stadium for tonight's game. Very quiet around so I'm anticipating a low attendance. Not helped by the fact it's raining and very cold even if it's a Monday game.

It's a good idea for them as they can draw in anyone interested in pre game boozing.

That's almost 5k in 3 days, not an easy task getting fans to come out twice in a short space of time. It will be interesting to compare these to your next Friday match.

Edit: just seen that's v Rovers!

Yeah it's never easy getting people to go to two games in 3 days. We always get a healthy attendance against rovers so I'd say quite a few will skip the QF against pats on Tuesday

Did you sack your marketing manager and replace him with a marketing manager from Dublin?

Was in the Brandywell and the 1000 estimate sounds low to me - I'd have thought more like 1500. Heard nothing official though.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Saatchi and Saatchi couldn't sell a wet Monday night figture against the Drogs three days after the last home game.
