Alan Mahon has completed his switch to Burnley after finishing the campaign there on loan from Wigan.

    A bargain at £200,000 I feel.

Yeah that's pretty cheap alright. Maybe he had a decent wage at Wigan and they wanted to get rid of him as quick as possible?

    SPL Talent

I hear Also that Alan McCormack who spent last season on-loan at Motherwell from Preston is set to make to make a permanent move, he's Irish as far as I know though I stand to be corrected.

Anyone know of any other talent available to us who's playing up there aside from the obvious McGeady and Foran. What does anyone know of Richie Byrne the Aberdeen left-back. Is he a viable option?

Thanks for that info lads. This is a story which interests me greatly. I'm a big fan of Healy. He's a lad with great character and I genuinely believe he has a future in international football.

yeah, id love to see him at leicester, even on a pay as you play jobbie to cos if he got it together he could still be quality, fine player. but leicester signed 2 midfielders yesterday so its less likely now id say, pennies are tight at lcfc.

Really? There is a thread in the Cobh Ramblers section saying that he is about to sign for them. I really hope its Ipswich. Would love to see himself and Owen Garvan in midfield together.

Norwich's highly-rated Irish defender Michael Spillane, 17 has signed a three-year professional contract with the Canaries having broken into the first-team at the tail-end of last season.

Coventry have signed Brentford midfielder Jay Tabb on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Tottenham midfielder Mark Yeates has again been linked with Southampton, possibly in a loan move. Yeates enjoyed a successful spell on loan with Colchester last season where helped them gain promotion to the Championship.

nice one kaiser, i think this is a good move for him as coventry were a fast improving side in the latter half of last season and have made a few signings as well,(young players as well, for a change as far as Adams is concerned) i think they may be in the play-off shake up.
