I did it, too. I do wonder how the views expressed by supporters could be implemented realistically. I assume you'll get a seriously mixed bag of comments - but I'll remain optimistic that they can be taken on board somehow!

It didn't allow me to write as much as I wanted as maximum was 500 characters, however the more I think on it I think the key is to create a third tier with 4 groups and cut the support to Junior football, trying to move it to Summer. Give august free or something for holidays and that's all.
To attract the teams, only teams playing in that league should be able to play in FAI Intermediate Cup and Junior Cup or League cup stages etc.

I think that attract 32-40 teams shouldn't be that difficult specially considering Ulster is already running summer league. Obviously the level could be a bit low but the costs involved if they FAI doesn't lose the plot should be the same than in the Munster-senior league etc. I would also allow "B" Squads on this kind of league. For me that's the way to go.

Play-off at the end of the year at the Aviva and a couple of promotions, the first year. If enough applications we could even look into promote 8 teams straight away and to make a first division with 2 groups North-South to cut costs. for the third year or so.

Ulster senior league switches back to winter in August due to a lack of teams. Summer football and greed killed a very decent league.

Considering 98% of football fans are loons, that's not necessarily a bad thing

100% of which see their ideas as perfectly rational and straight-forward.
