Does anyone else think city should be trying to fit more than 1500 seats into the new shed stand? They would be kinda troubling the size of current shed structure so should really be capable of getting 2000-2500 seats in there if done properly...?

if they build all the way from the steps on the right to where the old dressing rooms are, they should be able to do that no hassle. dunno where 1500 came from, it'd have to be a very small stand for that. nothing like what the original plans were anyway

I was on about a commercial site. I think that the objections have to be considered all the way through, or up until a certain stage at least.
No really sure on all this though.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

i'd say it'll look like the shels stand behind their goal cause that holds about the same i think.the new shed would want to stretch across the whole goal not just the amount it does currently.its a waste of time and money otherwise IMO.

I agree. I think the stand at shels (nice and all as it is) looks ridiculous standing there on its own.

i think the seating in the structure will only be at the front and stretched the length of the pitch. remember there space for offices, a shop and two dressing rooms plus a reception area

yeah but the orginal plan definately had 2 layers, one from ground level up, the other on top of the rooms below. i remember seeig the opposition dressing room under the shed and going

    whats that doing there?
get the scum away from the shed!
i wonder could they hear the shed?
    they would you know!
scare the sh!te out of them!

The current structure doesn't take up maybe even a quarter of potential size of what new stand would take up. Lennox said 1500 in the programme i think so would seem to be similar to Donie Forde stand in layout?
