    Cobh Squad 2015

    Can anyone list out how many of the new Cobh Ramblers squad are actually from Cobh?

    Not that it really matters, as I know there has been a lot of players moving to various clubs pre-season, but considering the great u-19 season last year, I would just like to find out how many of the current suad for the 2015 season are actually from the town of Cobh.

    David Browne,
    Andrew Bhandarkar,
    Shane O’Connor,
    Brendan Frahill,
    Andy O’Connell,
    Rob Lynch;
    Graham McCarthy,
    Eoghan Murphy,
    Peter White,
    Ryan Goldsmith,
    Alan O’Flynn,
    Robert Waters,
    Keith O’Flynn,
    Ross McCarthy;
    Kynan Rocks,
    Stephen Kenny,
    David Walsh,
    Steven McCarthy,
    Ronan Stanton.

    Anyone able to check it out and list them out?

    Most of Cobh's U-19's would not come from Cobh anyway. I'd say very few of that list are likely to be from Cobh.

    What's the mood like around Cobh ahead of this season? Preparations didn't appear the best last year, but things look to be quite the opposite this time around.

    Anywhere above last position has to be considered as progress.

    People are just wondering if some new money has become available, considering that a few of the new signings are not joining the club for the love of the First Division, travel and the level of teams.

    Preparations seem to be a good deal better alright, anything would be better than last year, I don't think I could face another season like that. To be fair last year the manager had something like a game or two at most as pre-season and was relying on Under 19's. This pre-season already seems better; already have had one friendly and a very tough Munster Cup game under their belt.
    We'll see, but we lost the same fixture to Douglas last year and last Friday at least they won through. Also some of their play looks a good deal better than last year but let's see come March.
