I got a free bet of £10, I could have matched it to guarantee about £7 back, however it is complicated and messy,
usually lucky to get half my money back, decided to lump it on QPR beating Man U at 9/2 instead, bit of a long shot
really the draw might have been a better bet, you still get 3-1 on that.
But too late now, will need Dunne to have a good game, QPR have 3rd best goal scorer so that should help,
but no doubt knowing my luck come 5pm Man U will have hammered them 6-0
My tip on free bets is go for the underdog. With a €10 free bet - with stake not returned - consider winning €10 back about half the time on even money bets (long term expectation €5), or €70 back about 12% of the time on 7/1 guys (long term expectation €8.40). I wouldn't go for anything longer than 10/1 though because 10/1 is the bookie's code for not a chance in hell...
