Hopefully Firhouse restore Tallaght's pride then
I just heard Firhouse clover beat Longford 1 nil, any one at the game who can throw some light on the performance or lack of
yep I was it. We werent great in first half. Firhouse had only one chance on goal all game and took it well. They were very agressive in their challenges. It was a much weakened side. We only could put out five subs due to injuries. It was only when Sully came on that we dominated and we had two great chances in the space of a few mins. Mulhalls was the best chance near the 90th. How he didnt score I never know. I wont lose sleep over the result as we have far more important things to think about!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Leinster Senior Cup 5th Round/Quarter Finals
Tuesday 09th May, UCD AFC v Cabinteely FC, UCD Bowl, ko 19:45
South Dublin Derby as Pat Devlin brings his side including a host of former UCD players to Belfield. Both sides are playing well in the league and this should be a great match in sunny, pastoral UCD Bowl. #COYBIB #UCDFANS

UCD 2-1 Cabo.
Two of the scrappiest goals you will ever see. And another one.
Daft competition though
Any word on when Pat's v Firhouse is?
It's the only game not scheduled yet - no idea why. It's just about two and a half months now since Pats played the last round.
So it's Shels and UCD into the semis. Dundalk v Thomastown on Monday, 15th May and Pat's v Firhouse TBC.
The semis were played around this time last year so it's fallen behind this year! Pat's aren't exactly inundated with fixtures.
Dundalk 6-0 Thomastown United FT
So is this is Dundalk, Shels & UCD into the semi final, last spot will be the winners of Pats/Firhouse.
The excitement is building !
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
The last of the quarter-finals, Firhouse v St Pat's, will be played in Richmond Park on August 8th.
Quick tidy up.
Shelbourne beat Pats on Monday in Richer in the s/f and are through to the final.(0=1)
Dundalk play UCD in the other s/f on Tues September 19th at the Bowl.

Leinster Senior Cup Semi-Final
Tuesday 19th Sept 2017
UCD AFC v Dundalk FC, UCD Bowl, ko 19:45
Two footballing sides, with plenty in common, taking each other on in an entertaining, competitive cup tie. The best of talent and young talent in Ireland.

Can't wait to see how UCD's players get on against the players they'll replace at Dundalk in two years.
LSC Semi-Final
Tuesday 19th September 2017
UCD AFC v Dundalk FC, UCD Bowl, ko 19:45
The Lilywhites going for another national cup. There's been football connections between the sides in recent seasons. Both teams want a Final spot and it'll will be an enjoyable, cracking game between two attacking footballing sides.

We got to the semis last year as well. The semi was confirmed with three days' notice. Basically we agreed with Bohs that if neither of us needed a replay in the second round of the FAI Cup, we'd play our LSC semi on the Monday instead.
I don't think it's possible to be taking a match too seriously when it's arranged like that.
I'd like to see us play a 19s team tomorrow - maybe with a couple of first-teamers to help them along - as it'd be the nearest thing to a European game they'd get ahead of the home tie with Molde next Wednesday
