Someone asked for this thread to be put up...its to track the media attention that are protest for Tuesday has gotten
The Sun got word of the protest first...They have jounalists going through these forums who get the news before it even becomes news..we were just discussing ideas and the red card thing and bang the next day it was in the paper...they mentioned foot.ie in there too which is nice bit of publicity
TV3 have done a minute clip and that has been repeated
RTE have said that they are aware of a protest being organised

Yeah, hope it gets good publicity.
However, The S*n are scum. I'd rather not have any publicity than have publicity with that shower of *****s. Lying, sensationalist, rubbish - that's what the s*n stands for. It is one paper I will never buy. British trash....

For what its worth we were on off the ball last night they mentioned the protest said they knew about it but didn't go into much detailed....
totaly agree with you about the sun but any media attention is good cause its spreads the word i contacted newstalk106 last nite dunno if they gave it a mention though

today FM - the last word has mentioned the "huge protests2" against the blazers at lansdowne road tonight. I hope this protest goes ahead.
