Is it Sunday week? If so what time?![]()
We don't know! I asked one of the club officials last night and he thinks it's on the Friday but it might be moved to the Saturday.![]()
Ridiculous organisation, there was an announcement about the premier games weeks ago but nothing was said about the first and they still don't seem to have decided what will happen. The title will definitely go to the last game after our win last night so whenever the game is, the Harps-Dundalk game will have to be on at the same time.
We're not arrogant, we're just better.
The last mail out from the League which was only yesterday has the fixtures as below:
First Division
SERIES NO. 33
Fri. 19 Nov
Galway United v Kildare County, Terryland Park, 7.30pm Referee: Mark Gough
UCD v Kilkenny City, Belfield Park, 7.45pm Referee: Dave McKeon
Monaghan Utd v Bray Wanderers, Century Homes Pk, 8pm Referee: Paul Tuite
Sat. 20 Nov
Limerick v Sligo Rovers, Pike Rovers SG, 2.30pm Referee: Declan Hanney
Cobh Ramblers v Athlone Town, St. Colman's Park, 7.45pm Referee: Anthony Buttimer
Finn Harps v Dundalk, Finn Park, 7.45 pm Referee: Neil Doyle
Celebrating 130 Years of Athlone Town Football Club - Pride of the Midlands Since 1887
That can't be the final fixture list though because Harps and ourselves will still be going for the title in the last round of games so the games will have to be on at the same time.

Sent out just now:

Nice one, thanks atfconline.

Cheers. I hope the confusion doesn't hit our attendence. I wonder if the prospect of seeing a trophy winning match could boost attendence for this one.
