Above is correct. I was way off the mark initially saying only Bohs, Rovers & Shels only retained it, so it's 8 clubs in total.

Shels did it in early 2000's.

The interesting thing about Waterford is, they won 6 titles and all were between 1966 and 1973.

#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

All very interesting ... but in "Squads 2015"?

Thread discipline seems to have slipped a bit.

Rumours/signings/squads are all over the place with three separate threads catering for them, and bits of all in each.

Maybe the Mods should just merge the three at this stage!

I think I might have been responsible for taking this thread off topic with the clubs retaining leagues.

Andy O'Connell signed for Ramblers today according to the club's twitter account. Good player who could do well for us.

He never really got a chance with us but he's a good player. He can also claim that he's scored against Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers.

where did Cobh sign him from Pablo?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

I could be wrong on this, but I think he was with is last season but never got a look it. I stand to be corrected on this, however.

I think McEvoy has a fair bit of skill, based on the few times I have seen him play. But he was not getting many games for Bohs last season, so the move to Bray is understandable.

He was with us last season. At least for the second half of the season.

So, essentially, Waterford will be using the only squad that finished below them last season?

And 2 of them are players that Cobh didn't necessarily want 🙌

You can't trust a man that spells his name Bobbi, I reckon.

Cork City have signed Liam Miller. That's a nice replacement for Gearoid Morrissey.

I would have thought they were quite different players, to be honest.

It will be interesting to see how Caulfield combines Healey, Miller, and Holohan in the line up.

I wouldn't agree with that, there are similarities. Both good on the ball and very mobile. But on the point of how we fit all those in together, yeah, it'll be interesting.

Having seen Mller in a friendly with Sunderland against us a few years back, at least back then he was miles better than anything in the league. If we have half that player we have a very decent replacement.

It's a big indication that Cork intend on playing an attractive brand of football. It should be a cracking season for Cork.
