Seemingly nothing in the Liam Miller to Cork rumour after all.

There are some seriously lazy journalists giving good ones a bad name and that is across all boards. Have seen it with Limerick where a few Limerick fans made up rumours about a possible manager and it got national press. It's happening over on munsterfans.com as well where fans are chatting about possible situations going on and the papers are then printing it as fact. You then have all these online sites that post articles about what people are tweeting.
Dylan Connolly going to Ipswich from Shels according to today's Star. They offered him a deal in July apparently but Shels wanted to keep him for the rest of the season apparently. He's out of contract so it'll just be compensation. Cracking player.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Woah, dodgy ground here- according to my understanding, Man City did pay for Cunningham but not necessarily all to the correct club. They may have got it wrong but may have been misinformed by people on this side of the water.

In cases like that it should just be a matter of bringing it to the attention of UEFA. Once you have the relevant documentation to prove a player is of the right age and you are due compensation it should be a no brainer. They are clamping down on fair play wih wages, it should be the same with compensation.
I'm open to correction, but as far as I know the buying club (City) pay all monies owed to the selling club (Mervue), and it is then up to the selling club to pass on any compo owed to other clubs (in this case, Cregmore/Claregalway FC). So if Cregmore were waiting for money, it was from Mervue, not City.

"Homer Simpson, smiling politely."

Rovers are monitoring Derek Riordan, who was at Hibs shortly before Fenlon took over. His career has taken a bit of a nosedive since but he was a decent player in his day.
We were linked to him when Taylor fisrt came. Pretty sure there was an article at the time about how he would do anything to get back playing football, even play for free.
This article says 2014 but it was definitely when Taylor first got here.

Got himself in a bit of trouble too and a few spells in clubs after Hibs also.

Any else hear that Roddy might be taking over in Drogheda. The club can't agree a budget with Richardson.
Who's driving him to the interview?
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
