Bohs secure Intertoto spot

It may not have been their aim at the start of the season but Bohemians have clinched the Intertoto Cup spot. Already rumours are rife that the lack of either Champions League or UEFA Cup football will force the Gypsies back in part-time status and herald a mass exodus.

Tonight, Bohs finally got the Dublin City monkey off their back, beating them for the first time in four attempts and scoring four in the process.

Not good enough for them I'm afraid. The whole plans for next year were hinging on clinching the UEFA Cup spot. A massive scaling down operation is in order. Attendences have gone to hell since the start of the season. A pity, a strong full time Bohs is what the eL needs. Probably Ireland's second best supported club.
