Seems to have been a theme of the night. Gary Haylock was at our game in Belfield. Got a song sung for him for nearly ten mins straight. He did however have a notepad and was doing alot of writting so he was over on business for somebody!

Much improved Limerick last night, played some football.Buckets of chances at either end.Good night for the oul fellahs, two top class saves from Barry Ryan and goals from Jayo and Mulcahy.Woeful crowd, barely a thousand at best.

We were blessed last night. But got the hard earned point in the end. Derry missed 2 sitters. 1 off the playoffs now. Never thought we would be in this position after where we were 10 games in. Keith Long....What a man.

I'd also say Cork v Bohs will be a key game, this is a side that have caused Cork a lot of problems this season.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).

The title is there for Cork if they believe they can win it. The big plus last night was getting three points out of a game they could easily have lost. The minus was playing with such fear against what was basically the debris of our season. They have to shake that off or they'll drop points in the remaining games.

Cork can believe as much as they like but if we win our next three games that's the league won for us.

The can believe all they like. However, it is Dundalk's hand not Corks.

We know. Most of us have conceded defeat already. They should probably do the presentation on Friday just to get it out of the way.

That's true I don't like bohs very much always been a thorn in our side.. ucd away could be a sticky one too always a tight one.. we have shown great resilience and character over the last few weeks to give me confidence that we will get through these games

You'll batter UCD. They are a very light side who are prone to terrible mistakes at the back. They don't have the quality of UCD sides of recent years.

Bohs are a team I would not like to play at this time of the season. However, we have Shamrock Rovers at home, that could be an equally difficult game.

Drogheda could be difficult for you. While their fans may want to lose, their players may have different thoughts, and Darius is a Lilywhite at heart.

Cobh 0-1 Galway at half time. Galway going for there 5th straight win that will bring them to within 3 points of shels in second place with both teams meeting next weekend.

I'd be more relaxed if we had them at home really but still confident we can beat them.. as for bohs they have been very frustrating against us this year and as you said they are a team you would not want to be playing this time of year. I said a few weeks ago that your games against pats and rovers would be the ones ye could slip up in so hopefully it does happen on Friday.. Yeah Drogheda never been easy we will have to be at it from the start. Will be a bit strange seeing Rico in the away dugout

Ryan Manning with the winner, some nerve for a 17 year old. Roll on Shels next weekend.
