Athlone TOwn's Ladies team.... Bealnamulla/Athlone Town beat Templeogue United last SUnday in Portlaoise by 4-1 in the Leinster Intermediate WFAI Cup Final.Geraldine Griffin got a hat-trick in the historic win for the Town, their first ever win over Templeogue in a rivalry dating back years in the underage as well as senior game.

So a trophy for Athlone in 2004 after all
