Going by train here,anyone can tell where the ground is from the train station and any good hotel in drogheda.

when you leave the train station continue going downhill alongside the road. stay beside this road (its the n1) for approx 2km, and you will come accross mother hughes pub at the top of a hill. (if your quiet enough you may even get in anyway, take a right at mother hughes, and united park is a mere 200 metres or so away.

as for hotels, well the westcourt is on west st (drogheda's main st), then theres the boyne valley hotel around 1km the other side of the train station. probably cheaper for glenside or europa - but you'll need to get a taxi as there a couple of miles out of town
