Cork City FC Rescue The eircom League!

If we're honest about this, the league looked to be over a few months back.
Shels were running away with it and many people were losing interest.
Our crowds were down as I'm sure were the crowds of many other clubs.
All of a sudden we win 9, draw 2 and the title race is back on.
A win for us on Friday and it will go down to the last day of the season.
I know this isn't unique in the history of the league but it looked unlikely a few months ago. It's fantastic!
Whatever happens now, we've made an important contribution to this years league campaign and since there can only be one winner, all other clubs must ask themselves if they've at least made a contribution.
It's just a pity that this season has to end.
We've a long winter ahead of us.
    Bring on Friday!

    Agree totally Peadar.
This is the most exciting finish we've had to a season in many years (since 99 I'd say). I can't wait for Friday's game.

And don't forget it was Peadar's favourite manager who masterminded the whole thing!

Hey, if we win the League I'll relish all the abuse I'm due for not backing Dolan. It wont change my opinion of him though.
I wont hide from anyone who wants to tell me I'm wrong.
    I'm hard to please.
Being a City fan, I want success for my club regardless of who's in charge.
