The rule for 20 odd years has been 7 days for Munster Junior and 14 days for Fai unless it's been changed

I thought it was something like that, but couldn't fine any rule stating so

The above rules are out of date. Sheriff2 has quoted the rule correctly. This rule applies to all competitions including the Munster Junior Cup and FAI Junior Cup. A player can register with a club next Friday and play in cup on Sunday.

Id imagine the rule change was due to the countless objections that have plagued the competition, definitely a positive move, makes things much simpler

I'm again compiling the full FAIJC record this year, and finding a serious lack of scores almost everywhere. Outcomes are OK (except for a very few cases). Any additions or corrections gratefully received, as usual!

The next round will be open draw, so this is as good a time as any to post the story to date. It's here - and not public yet, so don't blow my cover! I'll wait to see if there's any additional info forthcoming, and publish with the 5th Round Draw.

You will do well to get the 5th round draw I hear a certain league has told everybody that a certain newspaper has paid for full rights to the draw so god knows when we will get it.
