I'm 3rd in my league. 2 points off the top. Was leading most of the season but got slapped down recently. I play the team in 2nd on the last day. We're tied on points and he has better goal difference. I'm still training defence. My trainees go:

I've never been promoted but only really started investing in training properly (more coaches) this season.

Its only this season that i have really trained properly so hopefully in the next few seasons i will have a decent team. I train playmaking.
In the above team the oldest is 22 and the youngest is 17.Average age is prob 19/20.

Im in an extremely tough league so i dont think i will be ready for promotion to div iii for 2 seasons at least. I cant believe i wasted nearly 2 season but am on the right track now even if i finished 3rd last this season.
So lads what are the requirements for div 111 so one can survive.Would outstanding/brillient be sufficant then.
You need a decent midfield and a great attack. Defence does nothing much for ya in III if you are poor up front.

the 3 inner mids are all due a pop aswell.....
am doing ok in my league....went for broke last sunday to try and get 3rd and MOTS'd.....2-1 up with 3 mins to go and the fcukers equalised3 times this season that i've thrown away a lead to draw in the last 10 minutes....should have 3rd wrapped up but will now probably have the play off because of crappy TS for this sunday.

Time to go shopping for proper winger. Was going to change training to defending but i now think will stay with playmaking - i think best to have strongest midfield to dominate possession?
Got few quid for top goal scorer at 19 goals.
Finished 3rd. Last game of the season didn't go well for me, lost 3-1. Cash up to 3.9m now. Got 2 brilliant trainees now too.

Managed to scrape 3rd place in my league somehow.
Was 2 points behind 3rd, 1 point ahead of 5th going into final game.
I was playing against 6th, who have given me trouble in the past, 3rd was playing a team already relegated and 5th was playing a walkover.
Because of my crappy TS, I PIC'd in expectation of a qualie next week!
Turned out 3rd lost to the relegated team and I scraped a 1-0 win after going down to 10 men.....
I scrape into 3rd place! lovely! highest finish ever!
