Becks to quit England in 2006

England captain David Beckham has indicated that he will call time on his international career after the 2006 World Cup finals.

Beckham may lead England out against Spain on Wednesday, having missed the last World Cup qualifier in Azerbaijan through injury and suspension, and he has indicated that this could be his last campaign for The Three Lions.

"I think the 2006 World Cup in Germany is probably as far as it will go for me as an England player," the Real Madrid man told the Daily Star On Sunday.
