In terms of the speed and fitness levels, it probably is, but in terms of standard, no.

He is only a young fella.

Has the footballing ability. He'll be a decent player in 2/3 year years.
Yeah man, they call gambling a disease, but it's the only disease where you can win a bunch of money.

It doesn't say he's injured, maybe he could just do with the extensive training considering he has missed so long?

He picked up a knee injury in pre-season. He'll undoubtedly get games when he returns as Hull don't look like signing anybody.

Having a British manager would help. If a foreign manager comes in he'll be playing with U-23's.

"Brian Lenihan is continuing his outdoor rehab and we want to make sure we give him the best chance of progressing from this knee injury. We're increasing his load slowly to give him the best chance of doing that.

What is the story with Lenihan at the minute? He played for Hull's under-23s back at the end of October, but more recent reports state that he's still on Hull's injury-list.

    This was from last October:

Lenihan played for Hull's under-23s on Monday against Millwall although the game was abandoned after 89 minutes due to a mass brawl breaking out between both sets of players: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/hull-...ail/story.html

Hull had been leading 2-1 at that point.

Lenihan since spoke with the club's website: http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/a...e-3646393.aspx

Meanwhile, Neil O'Riordan reports that Cork manager John Caulfield may be interested in bringing Lenihan back to the League of Ireland if the player isn't offered a new contract at Hull before his current three-year deal runs out at the end of the season, although there would also interest from League One clubs, according to Caulfield: https://www.thesun.ie/sport/football...rom-hull-city/
