Three now.
Guess we can give him his own thread now? He's ostensibly being signed for the U-21 team but he probably has a decent chance of being given an opportunity under Steve Bruce if he makes good first impressions, as Hull are competing on potentially four different fronts this season.

Three now.
Lenihan has signed for Blackpool on a month-long loan: http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/irish...ne-month-loan/
Blackpool take on Leeds on Saturday.
Following in Coleman's footsteps. If he can stand out in such a rancid team it'll really stand to him.
Ahem, http://foot.ie/threads/145771-Matt-Doherty ....
Ok, scrap that theory.
Brian Lenihan makes hit debut, and Charles Dunne plays his 2nd game, Right and Left Back respectively.
Charles Dunne and Brian Lenihan. That's the bones of a coalition government right there.
Bad luck, Lenihan returns to Hull after getting injured in his second game: http://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/i...an-299792.html
"The way the Blackpool web site was worded it doesn't sound as if they want to extend his loan period."

I was thinking the same thing.
I supposed you could read it that way if you were determined.
I was probably reading too much into it.
Not much in the way of opinions about him - negative or positive - but here is what I found.

"Not really, looked scared to put a tackle in and offered nothing going forward. Mind you after the first half hour he must have wished he was back in Hull's reserve team."
"His 1st professional game in English football I think it is fair to say he will get better."
"Needs to toughen up."
"Was **** at Leeds - but who wasn't."
"Shame. Is McMahon back now or is he still suspended?"
"Did ok v Bolton I thought.... Any improvement on McMahon"

Blackpool remain interested in Lenihan; Bruce praises how he made the leap from Irish football to Championship football.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Steve Bruce thinks it is.
