Sadly it appears that the celtic tiger, technologically savvy as it is, has neglected to give the Minster for sport an E-mail address. This is what we're up against!

you could always go here and let him know that we have F.A.I. Internal-thievery concerns, and would like the opportunity to voice them thru email. (Ironically, you have the option to recieve your reply from this feedback service via email).
On the way into the stadium, an elderly San Marino Steward waved us in and said "Tonight, may the best team win"

    And they nearly did.

can someone upload a template for an email to the minister for sport and his email address.

I think it would be a good idea to send the letter and the ministers email address to all your friends (tell them 2 forward it on + send email to minister). Basically saying well done and I hope you stick to your guns, sick and tired of the FAI etc.

If the minster got a few hundred even thousand emails he wont back down

    THere is a template for sending emails to him on the Fianna Fail website. I can't seem to link the page for some reason. Try as follows;

    www.fiannafail.ie
Click "people" Tab at top of page
    Click "Kerry South"
    Click "John O'Donoghue"
    Click "Email"

    A message template appears.

I wrote that I was a long term football fan, disgusted with the carry on at the FAI and that I supported and appreciated his stance and not to give in to them. Finished by saying keep up the good work.

Alternatively (I've worked in that area before and am cynical as to how often such emails are checked, wouldn't hurt to email both of them), you can email webmaster@dast.gov.ie. According to www.irlgov.ie, it's the contact email address of the Department of Arts, Sport and Tourism.

Fair Play! TV3 mentioned it on their Sports Bulletin just there. It will be repeated in an hour.

TV 3 have just done a clip on the protest ireland soccer supporters are going to make next tuesday on landsdowne road. They said the supporters are borrowing from Fran Rooneys idea of green cards of support to red ones to show what they think of the FAI !!

looks like this is gaining momemtum

Is there a network in place for red card distribution yet?

Maybe Trevor and Aiden are organising it! We can have an orange shirt protest instead!

Anyway, didnt some betting company give out little red & yellow cards at the qualifiers a while back? wonder if they fancy getting the finger out & earning some free publicity while we make a point?

(as for how to get the booing going..... a full page ad in the S*n saying "milo corcoran plays for rangers" should suffice in getting the ball rolling...)

RTE mentioned that "irish football supporters are threatening to make a protest at next weeks soccer match"

RTE Mentioned it on the news just there to. Wasn't anything spectacular, something along the lines of:

"A Republic of Ireland supporters group are arranging a protest against the FAI at next weeks friendly international at Lansdowne Road".

Lads, someone should probably open a new thread with all the sections of the media that have covered it so far. People probably think this will be as succesful as the "Cheer the Faroe's left back" so as long as they know there's media interest they'll be more confident to hold up their Red Card.

I've e-mailed the Minister as well.

Keep sending those e-mails lads. After Milos qoute of yesterday I'm even more convinced that the lunatics are running the asylum in Merrion Sq.

We have a number of red cards on the go...but we need more help..The red card idea is being set up but this forum is the only network that we have to do that...We need people to produce more of these red cards can anyone help us some more on this we have 4000 for the north terrace and a number for the east...Robinski are you still gonna get these cards...who else can get more access to redt ... this needs to gather more momentum...TV and Radio know about the protest so we have to use them and make this happen bigger and better than it is now...We should print on the back of the paper to say why we are protesting and when to do it..

I can't help in getting more red cards but I'll help in distributing them. Any details on where to meet up, etc?

I just wrote to the The sun and The Star to see if they fancy producing a shed load of these cards (with their logo on of course) you never know they might be into it. However they may not too as they could then be snubbed by FAI at press conferences etc. Worth a shout anyway....

That would be great Donal..we will need quite a few heads if we get a loads of these cards...Somebady was saying Murrays near Lansdowne might be a good place...

    Red cards are currently printing.

Murray's is the meeting place between 6pm - 6.30pm on Tuesday before the match.

Distributors of the cards are needed, please come along and give a hand.
