    How good is Kevin Doyle?

I played with Kevin at county level in Wexford for a few years before moving to Dublin and could see the ability he had. He sometimes hadn't got the right people around him on both a playing and management level, but just needed nurturing from the right person.Since moving to Cork he seems to have blossomed into a top player. I can only judge from a few Tv clips and games I've been to.......but have to ask- has he been your best player this season?

Yes. Player of the year without a doubt. Now playing is his best position up front and without a doubt Pat Dolan's best signing for City.

Doyle has been absolutely fantastic this season.

His pace, and control seems to frighten the life out of all defences.

All the more remarkable as you just know he will continue to improve for a few years yet.

A move across the water perhaps? He went to Torino's academy for a few months when I played with him.....Is Serie A/B within the realms of possibilty?!

He took my place as I was carrying a slight niggle

No ... he's crap, brutal ... not a team player. Pure waster ..... A move across the water would be a very bad mistake for any club who are interested in him. Forget about it !!

as a supporter of another club i think he is an amazing talent and one to be proud of
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

Amazingly brutal and we are ashamed of him. We are now shunning him in the streets. Doyle is a bad word around these parts !!

Adam, can you add "Doyle" to the list of filtered profanities on this board.

I have been watching football since 1976 and in my humble opinion Kevin Doyle is the worst player I have ever seen in my life.

He makes no runs into good positions, his first touch is awful and as for his finishing, well, atrocious!!

Cork City need to keep him until he retires from football, you know, just to be kind to him.

    (Was that convincing enough?)

Totally agree with ya there colblimp, the only chance he has of even slightly improving his mediocre standards is if he stays with city.Theres no point in him going across-channel to a club with top-class facilities and endless oppurtunities,it would just be a waste of time for a player as bad as him. Stay with city Kev,its for your own good!

    Thumbs up Legend

Despite playing in midfield was citys top scored in europe this season & don't think any shel$ players scored more than him in europe either.

As a forward he has no weakness - pace, strength, heading, crossing & finishing yet still only 21. Only player in irish u-21 squad not to play in UK.

Oh Right. I think I misunderstood what Pete was getting at (who've never played in the UK). Back In my box
