Rumours from the Twitterverse have him playing for Town u19s against St Francis in a friendly the other night so this could well be true. It's a bit random to make up I suppose, even for darklordsbane ;-)

Henderson? Assume he's one of the goalkeeping dynasty, any idea how old he is and where he's coming in from?
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

I was just going to say if we were signing that Pender lad there wasn't much chance of signing Carrigy or keeping hold of him if we had him signed in the first place!

As per TheBoss on the main forum looks like he's coming in from CYM Terenure of the LSL.

Delighted with the 3 points and the few chances we created were pretty good but I tought it was a really poor performance by any standard, passing apart from about 8 passes was crap, looked completley complacent, and I reckon if Ryan Doolin had have played we wouldn't have won,
I thought rover lost thier concentration for Salmons goal and was delighted they did because I thought they were well in the game at that stage, after that they seemed to accept it was all over bar the shouting
yes we held onto the ball at times really well but it was like we were scared when leading 1 nil against a team that haven't won or even scored for ages, we should be hammering the likes of them, goal difference could count before the end, we won't get away with that kind of performance against better team but then are there any better teams in this devision
It will be a very interesting last series what with new players signed all over the opposition ranks we can't take anything for granted
a win is kind of all that matters but it would be nice to see a bit more than flashes of good football

First half was very poor and slow. Second half we did everything we had to do and could have had about four more but for wastefulness. Thought Hynes made a big difference when he came on actually. Dropped off the front and hit some lovely passes. We can play better and have played better but it's about winning from now on simple as that. We're the best team in the division and have shown that against Galway and Shels recently. No reason to feel we can't do it again.

By the way Jamie Mulhall..again. 18! The more I see of this kid the more I think he could play for Ireland (seniors) some day. If I was to be hyper critical he's not blisteringly fast but his positioning is top notch so he doesn't have to be.

First half was terrible just like Waterford last week to much long ball but we were never in danger of losing the game with our rock solid back four and second half the likes of Salmo ricer Shawsy and sully really came into it and that was the difference, we just have so much quality all over the park that when those players click we will win more often than not.

Echo the calls about Mulhall he's different class, best young player I've ever seen come up through the town ranks like this.

I'm very nervous about harps next week we know they are a bunch of hatchet men and I'd be afraid theyl kick us into submission so we just have to hope the lads keep their heads, use their experience and stay patient and take the chance or chances when they come. These next 3 weeks will define our season.

Jamie Mulhall looks great because he gets lots of the ball from Hunt, not trying to take away from his excellent form of late, but if Bennion was in goal he would not be featuring half as much, I too am very nervous about Finn Harps Pat sullivan will be very badly missed

It's his defensive skills as much as his skill on the ball that stands out considering his age and inexperience. Harps will be a tough one alright hopefully home advantage can make the difference.

Will ya stop! Mulhall made his break through last season during the run In when bennion was our player of the season bar sully and he was just as impressive before that awful injury which makes what he's doing now even more impressive as that could have been his career ended right there. Mulhall class is down to his technique and hard work nothing to do with hunt or Bennion or the man on the moon or anyone else! He's just different class.

Thought Sully was crap all night. I know he got two but he wasn't up to much other than that. Hynes was great. Made some fantastic passes and created lots of space. He'd make a good midfielder.

I said that to someone after the match. Well not that he was "crap" but that he was only ok. Still if he's scoring two in his crap games I'll take that all day long. Hynes did very well but the game suited him when he came on.

I think Smithers picked me because of my motivational skills.
Everyone says they have to work a lot harder when I'm around.
