Folks, you may have seen tweets about this, or stories in the media today about it. Matt was a hardcore Derry fan before moving away, so if anyone can help his family would really appreciate it.
Matthew Boyle from the Waterside area of Derry and a staunch Derry City fan has been living and working in Bangkok for the past two years. He has been in regular contact with his family via phone calls, text messages, email, and Skype until recently.
Matt has not been in contact with anyone now for two weeks and has not been seen at work or where he is living in that time. Obviously his family are becoming increasingly concerned.
They would be very appreciative if anyone who has been in contact with Matt recently could let them know (you can let me know and I'll pass it on to them). Also, they asked me to put it out to the League of Ireland community via Foot.ie and Derry City Chat because they are aware that Matt was very well-known in League of Ireland circles up until he left for his new job in Thailand. His family are also aware that there are a lot of League of Ireland fans worldwide who use Foot.ie daily so they felt that by putting a message on here, it might help to get it to Irish people around the world and, in particular, to Asia quicker.
It would be great if everyone on here could use their Facebook, Twitter, and whatever other types of social media exist to get the message out there, particularly to Irish and English people in Bangkok, Thailand generally, and Asia as a whole.
