    Oswald Lopes

What do you think lads ?? come on for nearly a half hour last night (about that, not sure) and really added to the teams performance in my opinion. (some would say that that wouldn't have been hard) .... he had some nice touches and linked up well with all around him .... looks good that we have someone like that waiting to get onto the team.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I have seen Lopes in a few U21 games and based on his performances in those games, I wouldn't have had him near the team.
However, last night he definitely upped his performance and deserves some credit for his contribution.
Whether the U21 performances or last nights performance are his normal standard we'll have to wait and see.

Nice touches and all but no way can he start. Does'nt do any work around the field and only comes alive when someone passes to him. Sorry but no thanks Oswald.

Before he came on we couldn't get near the ball in midfield, Gamble was cracking under the strain, Ossie came on and Gamble came back into the game and we started to put Derry under pressure.
Good to see Dolan using the bench, at last.

Though Lopes did quite well when he came on. Didnt do anything spectacular but used the ball well

Thought Fenn was outstanding when he came on in the deep role

Agreed. Fenn in instead of George must be an option for Dolan tonight.
