Leeview 0 Valeview 2. Can't fault our performance. Great effort. We hit the bar a couple of times and had a few chances to go in front. The first team to score was always going to win this game. The opener came on 80 minutes. We pushed on to try get the equaliser and got caught on the break in injury time. Very proud of our club and everyone involved. Back to the bread & butter now. How'd the other cork guys get on?

To be honest was a good game and ref did well too both sides well capable of playing football and both sides had their moments . Towers goal came against the run of play to be honest when all pressure was on tower at start with innish coming out of the block very fast and had a few half chances but couldn't finish and then a mistake at the back left tower in after about 30 (I didn't have watch so I'm open to correction ) and striker made no mistake and finished well . That lifted tower who got a better grip on the game and spread the ball well and created a few more chances but a mixture of good defending and goal keeping kept it 1 nil at half time . Tower started 2 half well and got a 2 within 5 minutes of restart 2 nil tower and innish had to dig deep and in fairness they did and with about 25 to go made it 2 1 and they had a few chances to make it 2 all but some good defending and goal keeping from tower kept in 2 1 with innish pushing hard tower got chances with fast breaks etcc and a mix up at the back left tower in for a 3 so game finished 3 1 . Good game with both teams having some fine players and to be fair both teams are too good for div 3 with the players they have . Hopefully we can pick ourselfs up and move on . Coachford will have big say in league as well they doing very well so hopefully teams will start dropping points
Coachford nowhere near tower n innish being brutally honest.
fair summary of game oldlegs.
If tower were more clinical could have been different but fair dues.
innish fine side but pressure lead to mistakes.
was that ricey rb for ye?
No Connor lynch played well pity he got injured
Oh right was told it was that guy.
Nice player
To be fair to coachford they have the points on the board and are very effective at geting a result! Tower will catch them no bother, but they were always going to win this division with the team they have put together! Innishvilla can't afford anymore slip ups if they hope to catch coachford! And it's only one team assured of promtion from this section!
So a lot of good work could result in no reward for both Coachford and Innishvilla!
Looking at league tables etc and the 3 teams that have pulled out of premier a being Douglas Hall Castleview and Hib's I can see aul having to do a rig jig of the leagues and unless a few new clubs join next season and the possibility of Glen having 2 teams instead of 3 next season (not speaking on behalf of Glen but just assuming they will find hard to keep 3 teams going next year after the lose of so many players ) . So I think aul will have to do an overhaul on the league and with such small numbers in div 3 it might make sense to make it 3 and 3a . But next season is a long way away . We still in the Aoh and we still fighting for league and hopefully we will be on top when it counts !!!!
Waterloo lose three players to red mist in Buttevant on Friday night?

Macroom second team doing very well this season seen them twice this year already and again at the weekend down 1 0 early in the first half but stuck in there and got there result top of the league now if im not wrong i know it might sound strange but i think overall they are a better team then there 1st team due to certain players not getting on with managers and other people involved in the club! i expect them to be up there come the final game
The structure thats in place is ridiculous at the moment old legs so you're spot on, looking at teams entering the past few seasons and that should tell you something. A very strong Crescent team re-entered the league and were put into League 3 while an unknown team like cloughduv came from west cork and were put into league 2, that makes no sense to me at all. Crescent proved it by walking the league and winning a cup aswell along the way and cloughduv are struggling in league 2. Not having a dig at either club but surely common sense should have prevailed here in both cases from the powers that be.
A restructruring is surely on the cards for the AGM in the summer!

Went to cloughduv vs ballincollig yesterday to watch ballincollig to see if they were real contenders for the league but was absolutely shocked they were hockied off the park yesterday from minute one to minute 90! If anyone from bcollig or cloughduv are on this im sure they would also say it could of hit double figures! Cloughduv played very well passing the ball scored some great goals striker got hat trick two centre mids got at least one each of not 2 one been chipping the keeper from outside the box! From what I watched it is crescents to lose and I don't think they will as they are a good footballing team!
