Not slateing De Courcey here now but only saying how many games a season do they have called off at home due to bad weather and the pitch been unplayable?? I know they played a cup game at home two weeks ago but surely pitch cant be that bad.... can it?

As leftside said, pitch was good but death in the club. Our home pitch in Ballinadee is 80% playable after alot of rain, but theres a patch that can get very boggy. We used to let games go ahead before but when teams would travel and ref would call the game off on the day we decided it wasn't fair to clubs & ref seeing as we are a bit of a trek for most teams. We have a 2nd pitch in Eli Lilly, but Kinsale use it for training most of the day on saturday so if it rains it gets cut up quite bad. So unfortunately, being a club with little funding & backing within our parish, we have to grin & bear it. To be fair we haven't cancelled much this season compared with other seasons. Other teams with top top pitches seem to cancel more than us to protect their field getting cut up to be honest.
Oh right, I wasn't trying to bad mouth you or your pitch, I was only asking nothing bad whatsoever. A lot of games have been called off I see only going to be a back log of fixtures. Week night games which will be hard for teams to have players due to work but I suppose thats what a squad is for.
Absolutely no offence taken - just explaining our situation anyways. Hopefully we all get games played the sooner the better!!!

Good win for innish b today was good game with both sides playing good ball . Both teams had chances and to be honest game could have gone either way . Don't know how it finished 1 all after 90 with us hitting post kilumney hitting post few good saves by both keepers . But hero of day was Innish keeper with 5 peno saves 4 in the shoot out and 1 in the game
Fair play to inishvilla B team on beating Killumney yesterday has to be one of the results of the weekend division three team toppling a premier side!! Keeper saved four in the shoot out and it still ended 7-6 must of been a great shoot out haha! Are Killumneyin decline or was it just a bad day at the office i know they lost players to MSL etc but thought they might of recruited a few new faces seeming as they were able to field a second team and all this year?
Anyone know of any truth in Rylane getting thrown out of the Corinthians cup for playing ineligible player? Anyone hear anything?
