Glenthorn 2 Blarney St 2. Good game of ball. No quarter asked nor given..... Where do we get the Refs. **** poor to say the least. How can you ref a game from inside the centre circle. Glenthorn raced into a 2 goal lead, but the street pulled one back just before the break. Next goal in my opinion was always going to the street who looked the the most likely to score and they did. Gradually Glenthorn came back into the game and had 4 good chances to seal it just before the end, but luck deserted them tonight. Grattan will be delighted with this result.
Carrigtwohill 2 springfield 1 keeps our promotion chances alive

Big result last night for Grattan, but the league is far from over. Grattan still have 4 very tough games - 3 being away against Kilreen, Park and Pearse. Now that's a run in. When you consider also they have the Glen at home this saturday, those 3 games are their run in. A test that would define any champion elect really.
Congrats to Pearse B, they dominated from start to finish last night...rumour has it the trophy made its way around the city centre and surrounding bars also, fair play lads...enjoy yer win!
I watched the glenthorn v blarney st game last night, glenthorn started very well going 2up inside first 10 mins on the other hand it was 2,bad mistakes from defence, as the game went on blarney street grew in to the game and deservedly got a goal bk , half time came at the right time for glenthorn because blarney street Wed on top, in the 2nd half the left midfielder played a lovely ball over to Johnny c had a lot to do and stuck it well, as the game went on it was even enough but in the last 10 mins glenthorn wet pushing on and blarney street Wed under pressure but dealth with it well so all in all I thought a draw was a fair result.
