To be honest I don't think discussing refs etc on here is helpfull in anyway . I know sometimes you need to let off steam but in the end you going to have to see that same ref maybe 4 or 5 times in a season . All you can do is nod and agree as its pointless to disagree . Players have bad games too etc but have the benifit of a coach telling them where they went wrong where as refs might get acessed 2 3 times . All I can say is without refs we wouldn't be able to play the game we love and it's hard enough to get refs with out us lambasting them here. That's my 2 cents on that agree or disagree I don't mind .
Lambasting ! Wasn't there a time last season you were lambasting your self when a ref called yer game after 15mins did ye forget about that already.
And where did it get me !!! I made a hero out of said ref Aparantly he got a kick out of reading it . So all I did was blow off steam and get nowhere

I always stick to the same line on the refs debate. The users should be asked their opinion. Look at the figures used above - team gets same ref five times in a season but ref is assessed two or three times. Who sees him more? The teams. You would soon see the pattern of credible comments. Refs get more protection as give/take of the deal. Our last three refs had very good games.
