Rathkeale B 4-2 Pallaskenry in the Division One League Cup final. Pa Ahern man of the match with a goal and 2 assists. That's 12 in 10 games since he joined in January.

Congratulations to Rathkeale B. Having a great season this year. Top in division 1,won division 1 league cup and in the Desmond cup semi finals. In my opinion they would be my team of the year.

Killeaney 0-6 Ncw Rovers
Broadford 8-0 Rathkeale (rathkeale had only 8players)

Abbey still on for the treble and reached the quarter final of Munster junior. If they can win atleast two of those cups (which i think they will) then will be my team of the year. Rathkeale B had a super season too

Ya I agree wit you about abbeyfeale,I did not realise there was a team of yr award in Desmond lge but it's a good idea.. Friday nites game shud be a cracker wit two footballing sides goin at it.. Rovers could shave it as der scoring goals for fun..

Tough one alright between Abbeyfeale A & Rathkeale B re team of the year... both have the potential for a few trophies but they have nothing to show yet, both could end up with nothing!! Although it would take a major catastrophe for them to at least not win their respective leagues.
With regards to the 2 Desmond Cup Semis, can't see past Abbeyfeale, beaten NCW Rovers handy twice already this season & you'd have to fancy Rathkeale B to put an end to Glin Bs great run.
I asked the question earlier has a 'B' team ever won the Desmond Cup or even made the final??

what about Askeaton for team of the year 41pts out of a possible 45, 13 wins and 2 draws from their last 15 games with nobody giving them a chance of promotion never mind winning Division 2 after the first 3 games, or do you base on what trophies you win? does anyone know who won the divisional player of the year awards?

For me anyway its about winning trophies. Askeaton have had a good season getting promoted and beating abbeyfeale in the fai. But you cant say they had a better season than abbeyfeale for rathkeale b

Team of the year has to be between Abbey A and rathkeale B, Askeaton are playing third division a joke for one of the largest towns in west limerick

Ya it's abbeys to loose now in fairness, it looks v tight at the bottom , who will survive?? I seen that pat king is after getting Desmond cup final. I did not realise he was a top premier referee ..
