Wont be giving a walkover but we're under serious pressure to field a team. Due to exams and work commitments a lot of guys just cant make the trip. We'll give it a shot anyway
Just read in the observer that rovers will be missing quite a few players the weekend alright. Such a shame

I hope NCW Rovers pull out all the stops to field their strongest 11 against River Valley and of course not forgetting Broadford United against our "Towney" cousins. It would be fantastic if both made it into the last 16. Our league would receive a much deserved boost. Best of luck boys, have a real go for it. After that we can look forward to Abbeyfeale United and Ballingarry when they carry the flag in the Munster Junior.
Best of luck to both broadford and rovers tomorrow. It would be nice to see them get wins away from home
Ballingarry 1:0 Carrig
Shannonside 3:1 Rathkeale
NCW 2:2 Athea
big result for Shannonside, anyone at the game??
Regional 3-1 Broadford
Rivervalley 6-1 Rovers (last i heard anyway)
Rovers beaten 7-1
How did Abbey get on?
I said in Sepetember this could be a great season for the neutrals and it is really shaping out to be that way, 5 teams in for a shout in the league. It's also very hard to tell who will go down.
Really terrible result for the Rovers, 7.1 is a real humiliation not just for the club but the league as well, and Rovers one of the front runners in the PL. Broadford to go to Limerick as champions and get well beaten as well, not a great sign for the Desmond then is it? This league is getting exciting, Rathkeale look to be floundering, too many GAA players me thinks. Broadford may find it difficult to retain their title. What odds on Abbeyfeale United to capitailse or what of Ballingarry, could they sneak up on the blind side? Half the season gone already for most of these teams, the team that can put a run of four or five wins in a row now will take beating.
I agree Good Shout, I think the likes of Ballingarry and Abbey will have a big influence on the league this more so than other years, they both look strong this year, and with Rathkeale losing players to football and Rovers losing 2 or 3 it could make the league wide open!
Ballingarry are on a good run but they won't win no league in my opinion. I think Abbeyfeale have the best squad and will win the league. Too early yet though
Abbey definitely have the best squad, hopefully they can get a good run especially away from home as they have sometimes struggled in the past! Ballingarry have a great team and have been going well, they were unlucky to draw against Rovers and lose to Abbey conceding very late in both games. If they keep going the way they are now they have as big of a chance as the others
Would it be a good call to call off all games early in advance. I see all the Limerick District games have been called off
Newcastle Rovers 2-6 Rathkeale.
Ballingarry 0-4 Newcastle West.
Broadford 4-2 Killeaney
Brilliant results for Ncw against ballingarry and rathkeale against rovers. Heard killeaney were up 2-0 against Broadford at half time.
Any reports on any games?
Heard abbey beat carrig but didn't hear the score
Kildimo were 2 up on Pallaskenry.
Kildimo 3-1 pallas.
Pitch was very sticky. Pallas missing one or two key players but so were kildimo. Good win for kildimo. Looks like glin and kildimo will be going up
