League is Abbeys to lose after today, can't see them slipping up now. Desmond Cup draw will probably be made at next desmond league meeting, usually the night clubs have to pay the second half of there fees
Askeaton A 1-0 Ferry Rangers
Athea B 3-5 Askeaton B
I said weeks ago that abbeyfeale would win the league because they have the best squad and so far they aren't proving me wrong. Think the Desmond cup draw is on tomorrow week
Going to be a massive battle to avoid relegation. To close to call it I think. Should be a great finale to the season with every club battling for points
Agree that it seems to be Abbeys to lose now... great result for them the weekend, anyone at the match? Rathkeale drawing with NCW too, good result for NCW. Looks like its gonna go down to the wire at both ends of the table this season.
Withregards to 3 teams tied on points didn't that happen with relegation form the premier a few seasons back? Killeaney, Rovers & Glin all tied. Ended up playing each other once... Glin stayed up after a draw & a win... in my opinion the fairest way to it!
Ya I wasn't sure how it played out - I was at the Kildimo-Rockhill game and after Rockhill won Kildimo were out of the promotion running, maybe they had played Athea already and it was a 3 way playoff - it certainly is the fairest way
Will there be games the weekend - weather is pretty bad - how were pitches after last weekend?
I agree the league is in Abbeys hands and with them already playing Rathkeale twice Rathkeale have to depend on others for them. Broadford will go close but Abbey should shave it. What are Abbey and Ballingarrys chances of progressing to the last 16 of munster?
Can anyone tell me where Granagh United's grounds are please , Travelling from Kerry to a game their Saturday .
Aldo, go in to Newcastle west.go to roundabout at limerick side of town, take right heading for ballingarry/Kilmallock,go out that road for about ten miles an take a left for granagh,it's after the turn off off to left for ballingarry so don't take that one, the football pitch is back of a shop/petrol pumps, not a great pitch to be fair, should take 15/ 20 mins from ncw max
I think ballingarry will win handy, north tipp teams normally not great, except the top few, the abbey game could be interesting but moyross shud progress wit a few goals to spare,by all accounts abbey missing a few due to a stag an apparently they planned it for Munster cup wknd which in my eyes shows a complete lack of respect for Munster cup.

That's the 5th round and quarter final draw for the Munster Junior. Very good draw for Ballingarry home in the next two rounds and both abbey and Ballingarry avoided the favourites! Hope Abbey arnt missing many Sunday as they have a great chance of go far as do Ballingarry
Just heard all games off tomorrow, any truth??
Munster Junior games still on, both teams doing pitch inspections at 10 o clock in the morning. If one is unplayable then they will play in Clonreask with this confirmed by the league. Abbey have priority as they booked it first
Will do, both teams trying there best to play their games in their own pitch, the Refs will be doing the inspection in the morning
Both teams playing at home, pitch inspections done and pitches are playable. Best of luck to both teams and hopefully we can have two teams in the last 16 of the Munster junior
Ballingarry 2 Vee Rovers 1
B'garry 1 up after 3 mins in an even first half. 2 up early in second after well worked goal. Had chances to make it safe before Vee scored with 10 left.
