There are so many interesting things to talk about from the Dundalk/Pats game. Just because Forrester wants to deflect from his mare of a game, let's not debate the bloody pitch (again).
Rinse and repeat everyday is that not the doctors orders about the pitch at Oriel.Grow-up the fuq some of yous ffs!
Cumann Peile Dún Dealgan - Champions 2015 (too many accolades to be typing)
Termonbarry Athletic TID!
Kenny Browne said it was a disgrace too and he was pretty much foot perfect throughout the game. As was Oman until he nearly took your man's head off
I thought Pats had better of first half with Forrester (who had a bit of a mate overall) missing a good chance. Think Pats should have had a penalty too but Lino didn't flag and ref probably couldn't see
Dundalk looked stronger in 2nd half but never really threatened Clarke's goal. Thought Towell was poor and created nothing. Horgan was the best attacker on the pitch
Good game even with little goal mouth action IMO
I find it staggering that Kalen Spillane is playing in the heart of the Sligo defence.. he was a major weak link in our side and I'm delighted we offloaded him!
Delighted with the win tonight, we had a good crowd at it too.
Your back four were very good. McMillan couldn't hold up any ball, so Horgan, Towell, and Meenan got possession in very deep positions. Hoban would have won his fair share and that would have pushed our play further into Pat's half.
For a nil-nil it was an interesting game. It was a pity there were two red cards. I was looking forward to seeing what Buckley and Kenny would try and do in the last 15 minutes when space started to open up. I actually thought Pats played their best football when it was 11 vs 10.
A draw was a fair result. It's all to play for in the second half of the season.
I missed the game tonight but according to a Harps reporter it was an enjoyable game. Harps had no real chances whereas the Town had a couple of good chances and the goal was a sweet strike. Shel's slipping up also been a bonus.

Good game last night. Fair result overall.
So many battles all over the pitch. I didn't know forester was playing until he was substituted.
As a result Pat's were balanced better when he was substituted as a result of the red card. I didn't see the McMillan incident so can't comment.
How are cork fans now in the break? Great position they are in? Is there scope for them to strengthen. I don't think they are going to fade away
We are clearly delighted with our position. I still don't think we'll win it, but we're certain to strengthen. We've been unlucky with injuries, but have come through. Now Danny Morrissey is coming back too, so if we could get another strike in to cover the absence of Michael Rafter and a solid centre back, we'll be well placed to continue. John O'Flynn and Gavin Kavanagh, respectively, are probably the most likely and I would not say no to either of them.

Great credit to Cork. That was an impressive result to win in Tallaght (or does it say more about Rovers?) and a 5th league win on the spin since losing back-to-back to Dundalk and Pats.
I have only seen Cork live once this season and while their performance in Oriel Park in the 4-0 drubbing was woeful, it is looking like that was an off-day against a team who simply overpowered them on the day. If Cork add quality players in the July window who are fit enough to slot into the team there is every reason to believe that Cork could maintain a title challenge.
thanks for that.
I guess the bump in attendances this season will give the board food for thought in that do they go for it and back JC.
Its great to see a cork side back up there.
I believe thought that they have to be considered as contenders
Long Live King Kenny
