I hope Fenn feels the same if he hears Matthew Tipton....

Darius is one of the good guys.

A very personable and enthusiastic character who will always give 100% to anything he tackles.

On the other hand , Neale Fenn is the polar opposite

Best of luck to Darius, he is a good football guy and a decent bloke, met him good few times while at Dlk. I'd really like to see him get a chance at managing again, he has a lot to offer I think.

Can't understand why Kieran's has only been appointed as a caretaker. Surely he should be given the season to see this out.

No Pro Licence - so 60 days max as interim manager according to FAI rules

It's a ridiculous appointment. I can't understand the logic of appointing a manager for a 60 day spell, especially one with such an awful record. The only possible explanation is that we're waiting for our real managerial target to finish his world cup commitments.

Possibly. I hope that's not the case though because I have zero faith in this 'takeover'.

Darius has been getting his Pro licence for what must be 2 or 3 years now, going back to his time with Dundalk and even when he was in charge of the Drogs previous to that. How long does it take or did he just drop out of it/ put it on the long finger?

You have to have a club when you apply. He didnt when the last round of application was. Catch 22 really.

That's not 100% true. Any body with the A license can apply for the pro license. The last one was overbooked but Pete Mahon (for example) got his without the backing of a club in previous years
