Good thread Max, I shouted for Cork in Tolka last Friday for two reasons.

All the premature talk of Shels becoming the next Rosenbourg really got under my skin.
20,000 euro still due for Alan Cawley.

In fairness, one of the main people behind that was Pat Dolan! novody from Shels ever mentioned anything about becoming the new Rosenborg.

Fair point Slash, I can't disagree with you. I was thinking more of the feature writers in the papers who were writing this before the two Deportive games. At the time, and up untill a few weeks ago, it looked like Shels might win the league by 10 or more points. I'm not too put out over who wins the premier but I'm cheering on Cork because they're making sure that it's a close race.

Have to say that i would always have wanted Cork to win the league ahead of shels, but as max said the attitude of some online cork fans on our board was just plain stupid. I know that it is a small few, but rivalry is one thing, the crap that was left on our board after a game that had NOTHING to do with Cork might have just turned me to go for shels, also looking at the coefficients at the mo shels would be seeded in CL in europe and cork wouldnt

For the mean time can teams please beat Bohs and Drogs in their remaining games so we can get the inter two bob cup spot
