If Paulie goes to gratin I'm sure John skilly and Barry and Colin Keane n bubbles will go up to him a lot of players who look upto him..
I know there was a lot of bad feeling when they left for the street so I wonder would they be welcome back with open arms. Good players that would benefit the glen. The street could be in trouble if they all jump ship but this was said last year when they were signing all the players. Crazy situation what ever went on.
Was he relieved of his services or did he leave?
there is no bad blood or falling out in the street its the plum job in cork i needed to step back it needs 100% i couldnt give that and i dont cheat any club ,the street is all good on and off the pitch .sure il do the kitman job to any new players thinking of signing you couldnt go wrong.
Best of luck with everything 1for
Best of luck 1for stepping down with an aoh under your belt, I'm sure we will see u back in somewhere soon enough great to see good managers giving other lads a shot and big silverware
As for loyalty in the aul the Blarney st situation just proves that most players don't care about the club they play for each year, to win an aoh and for most there players to leave is ludicrous it leaves the club in a bad situation. The days of clubmen are gone .
john corcran and skilly left title winning sides to join blarney st. Mark nolan and barry o donovan left a promotion winning glen team. David crow left an aoh winning team. I know he left the club for work commitments in the first place so hed be the exception. But the professional game has led to this excessive movement. There are also too many clubs. Fellas get taken off these days rip there jerseys off and shout "im gone" "im gone". Loyalty is long gone.
They leave all these places because they think they have a chance at winning the league, in my eyes it's good old fashioned glory hunting!!! The days of loyalty are well gone, considering if you look at the players in question they've all nearly played for a different club over the past 4 or 5 seasons and to be honest that includes 1for as well. 80% of the players are no longer playing for the jersey or the club, it's for themselves.
Leaving that point, i'm hearing there's a fierce shift out the southside with Greenwood losing quite a few players? If it's true it's a right shame when you have an exodus from both the Mossie and AOH winning teams.
shame to see greenwood crumble like that if true a good good season in all last season .........
