Yes
No
Depends who City are playing
If City qualify for CL would people be prepared to pay more to have the game on in Cork to make up the shortfall in gate receipts due to the reduced capacity ?

I think it goes without saying that people would pay more to see the game in Cork rather than have to pay out money to travel to see it in Dublin....If the tickets were €40 - €50 to see the game here, its still cheaper to go to Dublin to get a ticket for €25
could yee play in the rugby ground in limerick ??? its not that far away, anyone know the capicity ??
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........
The rugby ground has very few seats, it's mainly terracing.Originally Posted by max power
I'd definitely be prepared to pay more to keep the game in Cork. The last thing you want to do is move a city game to Dublin, we'd never hear the end of it.
I think we could be shooting ourselves in the foot by having this poll!
If the result of the vote is yes it could be an expensive season next year.

who thinks this is the most stupid poll ever...of course we would![]()
even the UEFA cup will mean rdduced capacity......no shed either competition
there was enough people whinging about paying an extra fiver for the intertoto games (and no doubt there'll be cribs about the price increase for games next season as well) so why would people pay more in this instance?
Good point.Originally Posted by joe
I guess people are willing to pay more if it's a better competion and if the capacity is reduced.
I can't see many complaining about paying anything up to 25/30 quid to see City playing in the CL/UEFA if it meant the only other option was to move the game to Dublin.
Champions!
I think its already costly enough to go to matches now. And Lennox now has plans to increase the price to €13 next season. Where is all this money going. Is it going straight into the back pockets of the players or is being used to improve the infrastructure of the club?
I heard its dead cheap to run a football club![]()
€13 is a cheap price when you look at the 'product' thats on offer.
I would imagine the extra will go to make the club a better run engine, extra money for infrastructure, to pay players wages (or put it in their back pockets, how dare they demand a wage, they should give all the money to City), and to maybe strengthen the squad down the road.
I cant see how you reckon its costly enough. €10 is the cheapest in the Prem division. €10 is barely 2 pints and a bag of peanuts. Of course, if you are a student you obviously have less disposable cash, but maybe there are plans for a student price?
If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
Pint of Heineken @ The Mountain Bar €3.55 , Dry Roasted Peanuts €.80
€7.90
For an extra couple of euro its well worth it.
j'accuse!
Sure your only going to get one home game anyway in Europe so whats a couple more € out of your pocket![]()

€30 maximum, yes. People will pay that but not €50!!
By the way, I'm not a student!![]()
If it does include these fixtures, you may be sure it will be reflected in the price, and rightly so IMO. By the way, does anybody know what was the price of a season ticket for the present season?Originally Posted by xtreme rebel

I held a season ticket in England, supporting the mighty Coventry City(no sniggers please!), for ten seasons. That enabled me to see all the first team and reserve team games, but that was it. I did, however, get priority for cup games and away games against the likes of Man. Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool etc.
I would think Lennox would do the same sort of thing over here.
i think with the price going up to 13€, the least they could do is bring in a student price, even if it was 8/10€ it would be some improvement. i'll probably get a season ticket alright, better be worth it though!!!!
