Irish League to move to summer season?
Article form Belfast telegraph
Sketcky on details, just says for 2015/16 season.
Could mean that's the interim season, or as early as next season?

Would welcome that if I was a Northern Irish fan. I also think that Scotland should make that move. The countries who moved in the opposite direction (like Denmark and Russia) have to whether deal with playing under an inclement weather or having the bizarre situation of a 4 month long pause during the competition while just a one month gap between a season and another. Seems to have worked at LoI and the Irish League really needs to do something because their current situation is horrible.
Interesting article from a Cliftonville fan here

Glentoran have paid Ballymena £100k for some lad. Does that count as progress?
I imagine so Bucket look at the interest that BBC NI has in NIFL compared to our national broadcaster with ours. I can imagine that a lot more loi players will make the move up north. Considering the lockdown with away fans down south Im planning to go to NIFL matches in the coming weeks.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Which clubs up there do you go to watch Martin? I've never been to one
I havent gone up yet Bucket but myself and a Bohs pal are planning to go to a Dungannon Swifts game when season starts. I was in Windsor Park and the oval when we played Linfield and Glentoran in Setanta Cup in 05. I also was in Solititudes ground and drove by Crusaders ground and Newrys ground.

I don’t know. I think it’s had its benefits. Better pitches, leading to better football, and also an improvement in European results ( and I’ll accept that there may have been other factors at play here, but in general there’s been a difference between clubs going into euro matches mid season as opposed to pre season. It’s also a nicer experience going to a match on a June/July evening rather that a December/January one.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.
