Harps to win 3-0 tonight is 100/1 with paddypower. Get on it.

Meh, screw that anyway. Longford are one up. Harps have conceded another penalty...feckin referees.

Yeah but the good news is you can now get Harps at 1000/1 to win 3 nil.

Finished 1-0 Longford. Apparently a shocking refereeing decision and poor goalkeeping from Conor Winn cost us. Becoming a bit of a pattern.

Wish Stephen O Donnell a full recovery. One of the best players in the LoI in recent years, still unbelievable that we could watch him play for a season down in Galway for a team that was really just cobbled together; full-back playing in goal and having only a couple of subs often, managed by Sean Connors etc. It seems that all the big clubs were unaware of him at the time, Fenlon let him go from Bohs I think?. Big loss for sure for Dundalk.
[QUOTE=pineapple stu;1748073]Red card killed the game in Sligo last night.
Up until the penalty incident UCD were comfortable. Sligo had not one effort on goal before this as UCD had two oppurtunities to score. Sligo are becoming a predictable side. When UCD pressed high keeper Clarke kicked ball out of play on a number of occasions. A false dawn from Sligo I think as once again they relegate prolific scorer North to bench and seem to have loss faith in young Maguire. Games away to Bohs and home to Pats will tell its tale for Baraclough.
Genuinely don't know if it was a shocking decision to be honest. I wasn't shouting for a penalty but the Harps players weren't going mad when it was given either. Poor enough penalty from Davy, side footed it pretty close to the keeper he probably should have saved it. Poor game, neither team created anything really but we probably shaded it. Pat Sullivan strolled through it again.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Seems we were lucky to escape with a 5-0 win though.
"Even if the wind stops to blow
Even if the sea ceases to flow
Even if the sun ceases to rise
The name of Sligo Rovers will shine and shine forever like the morning star glittering in the sky."
That's some painful banter, Redzer.
