    Season tickets

    Hi Guys
I can't work this out. (not much of a surprise there I know)
Is a season ticket just valid for home games in the league or all home games cups play offs etc, the adult price is €130.00, the league has 14 home games that means you only save €10.00 hardly seems fair if it's only valid for the league
Bray play in the Irish premier league and it's only €99.00 I think most premier matches are €15.00 in and first division is €10.00 I know most people wouldn't pay €9.99 to watch Bray but it would seem in this day and age to attract fans the season ticket should be better value for City Calling Stadium. if however it is valid for all home matches it would be ok price wise

darkblaneshane that season ticket price is for league games only.agree with you that the season price should be lowered to attract more people in.

The same people will pay for a season ticket each season. Sticking it down to 100 quid would probably result in a massive loss for the club.

Every single year we complain season ticket prices are too high and student prices are too high at the gate and every year we are pawned off with the same garbage.

Look everyone knows whose call this is ultimately and it's just something they won't change their mind on. Back in the good old days we did offer them at a reduced price (€150 or €180 maybe. It was when we were in the Premier). We sold a good few but ended up with home gates where we took in feck all due to the large number of STs in attendance. Since then the idea was shelved as far as I know. In terms of concessions I think €7 is a fairer price personally but €1 extra every two weeks won't kill anyone.

Fair point about the same people buying tickets. While it would seem like a good idea to have some sort of promotion, as it is we are badly struggling to get people to even come out to the odd game, people that don't usually go aren't going to just decide to fork out for a season ticket no matter what the price. Having said that it is a bit ridiculous that the current one is only saving anyone who actually makes it to all home games a tenner. If I remember correctly they were the same price before the league was reduced to 8 and it was never thought to take that change into account. There should really have been even a slight reduction this season.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Most shocking news is that bray have moved to the Northern League!

I've had my moans about season tickets in the past - when we charged more into the stand and they scraped the ground season ticket - but I can see the clubs point of view. Bray are offering that offer to attract fans, not to reward existing fans. I don't consider them a model to follow tbh.

I can assure you I am no fan of Bray I wasn't praising them I just couldn't believe a 1st division club charge more than a Premier division club even allowing for it being a promotion

Having spent €210 on a family season ticket at the start of the season, I'm a bit ****ed off getting charged €15 into a EA sports cup game.

Yeah FAI set the prices for cup games and they can't be included in season tickets.

Yep and the opposition gets half the gate. But it just shows there's not much value in buying a season ticket especially as I'll more that likely miss 3 or 4 league games this year.....
