yeah but what the blazes was mulligan doing in dublin a few days before an important game missing training, why was he only on the bench against monaghan. Not sure if I believe murphy at all.
According to todays Examiner, Liam Murphy has denied any falling out with James Mulligan and has also dismissed any claims that he has been transfer listed. He could be fined for missing training, but is still available for selection.
His starting postion tomorrow will surely give us a clearer picture. God knows he'll be needed against the leagues meanest defence.

without wanting to sound like a conspiracy theorist, the article only says that Mulligan is not on the transfer list and doesn't say anything about him asking for a transfer.
From what I heard the transfer request was made over a week ago... well before the Monaghan game and obviously completely independant of the training 'no-show'. Murphy is only trying to get out of a bad situation there. And he can't even do that properly...
The source the Irish Examier used for that story.......This website...watch what you are saying, they are watching....

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

Where did the rumour start first day ??
Well, if jimmy is here to stay then it is good news for us anyway, he got a good welcome on in the second half today. But then he was up there on his own for the rest of the game after Hartigol dropped back into defence.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
