    Total Bloody Fools

Any joy I would have taken out of todays win was destroyed by a number of so called City fans(one of them a poster on this MB).

These narrow minded fools had a great laugh shouting Racist abuse at Russel Payne. These kinda fools should be banned from the Cross. If Bohs can ban abusive fans why cant City ban Racists.
    Oh no not them again

I was in the Shed for the first half today, and to be fair, the only thing that I heard that even came close to racial abbuse was Moses waving some guy's hat shouting "Zulu". Im not defending it, I dont think that it should have been done, but its not exactly going to get him a life honary membership to the Cu Clux Clan now is it?

    SOC

If you are on about me and my post on jonny wards, then you misread , i heard the chant "whats it like to have a queen", while i kinda dont agree with it ... i do find it funny, (i have a real twisted sence of humour, take out the gun and pull the trigger, sheeze ... relax will ya) but the monkey noices i didn't hear and for the record i DONT agree with that.

Lighten up man, you'll have us all throwing flower petals at the keeper soon.

I admit to being in the wrong but I know nothing about zulu or monkey chants. In the heat of the moment I said some stupid and regretable things but I realized some of the comments were harsh and stopped chanting them however people were still chanting them after I stopped

i'm totally against any kind of racist abuse at matches, but the zulu comments weren't exaclty that bad. it was more a joke than abuse. there wer some idiots there roaring **** at him, but they were a tiny minority.

Any racial abuse like this shouldnt be tolereated at all.I must say though that I was in the Shed and I didnt here the monkey noises so it probobly didnt come up on telly thank god.Whats up with tne "Whats it like to have a Quenn" chants. Its not even that funny so why create any bad bloud between the two teams and supporters. What have the Derry supporters ever done to us.

As for the "Murphy Out" chants during the match.Thats going to give the players great confidence. For f**k sake why cant people keep there opinion too themselves during the match if they have nothing positive too say.It does no one any good.Id say something if we were 1 0 down and near the bottom of the league but we are far from it.IMO he is doing a good job and we are looking good for Europe again this year and hopefully the league next year.

Well the attendance Sunday was pathetic.Usualy good crowds at xmas but not today even though we were playing live on T.V and third in the league. If we beat Longford though I reckon a big crowd for the Bohs game Sunday week.Anyway here's for a good run to the end of the season even though the league is probobly beyond us but you never know and anyway there's always the League Cup.

So you agree with having Hartigan on the pitch? You agree with the hard-working Mulligan sitting on the bench? You agree with taking off the also hard-working CPOB and leaving the lazy as **** Hartigan on the pitch? You agree it is a good idea to off-load players like Colin O'Brien, Kelvin, Herrick and especially in that manner. You agree with him freezing out players like O'Flynn? Do you agree with the tactics of hoofing the ball towards Hartigan or Cahill at every oppurtunity?

One thing I can congratulate Murphy on is that he finally played Player of last Season, Steve Napier at centre-half. It must have surprised Murphy to see Steve have a MOTM performance.

What exactly were the three above mentioned gentlemen divided into? Are you saying that the great Pat Morely is not a complete man? Perhaps Derek Mountfield's left leg is now in Patagonia?

That's what an old man sounds like...petty, vindictive and full of bile.

As for James, the bitterness is strong in that one. With the proper instruction who knows what he is capable of....

Don't be daft Eanna. ANY RACIST ABUSE IS BAD.

As for your comments Cityoperator.................... I agree with your first paragraph, the rest is utter twaddle.

Look at it this way. LM is not a good manager, but we are still in a good position.
If you can actually say that his tactics are good and back up your reasons then great, BUT we are doing well because we have good players (except one 'striker'), who know how to win matches. If we had a good manager on the sideline whose tactics weren't very pedestrian and made good, well thought out substitutions every now and then, we would be running away with the league at this point, not to mention the fact that we would have one hell of a good squad.
    But however?.......................................... .....................

One Hell of a Good squad

I'd have to disagree that we have a good squad. We had a week squad at the start of the season and it has't really gotten stronger either. We have the most promisig squad in the league, but I'dhave tosay realistically Shels, Bohs, Pats and maybe Rovers have stronger squads than us.

IMO Gunther has done well to bring the squad this far with what he has even though he does make some strange decisions but lets not open that can of worms everyone has their own views.

i don't condone it at all, but i mean holding up a multi-coloured hat and shouting "zulu" as a spontaneous "joke" is no where near as serious as fellows who walk into the ground intending to make monkey chants at any black player they see.
wrong it may have been, but it needs to be put in perspective.

I said we would ahve, not HAVE a good squad. Well if we did have a good squad at the start of the season, why has our esteemed manager sold and let go some good squad players. If we have any injuries or suspensions we are screwed (god help us if cahill ever gets injured). And why is that? Because D*ckhead keeps tranfer listing people, before he has bought or lined up an adequate replacement or cover.

    Thats intelligent innit?

    GWA

    Sorry I misread!

I would think that there were financial constraints on Murphy to get rid of a few players, besides that he has had a few disuptes with players but in his favour he does seem to have a steady stream of wonder kids from his Stiofán Naofa course.
