Don't exactly want the upgrade and would rather just have the lower tier.
Won't work apparently. It's upgrade only.

I'd probably take it if Dundalk were there. At least you can have a few pints whilst watching to calm the nerves.

Will give Ticketmaster a ring in the morning and see the craic.

You'll have to drink them behind the glass window though.
Would rather be down in scum-class having the craic.

The FAI have told the club (Derry) that if you present your Lansdowne season ticket to the ticket van (which is at the junction of Lansdowne Road and Northumberland Road?) they will issue you with a lower tier ticket.
But this is the FAI, so bear in mind that Abbey, SCs, JD's muckers and his next door neighbour's cat will all be in the queue ahead of you.

Right... I can't see Pats losing this. I really can't. The best team in the country at the moment, and surely they won't lose ANOTHER Cup Final. Prediction: 2-0 the Saints.

I'm sure he means the best team still in competition in the country at the moment.

    You're just being ridiculous now!

If it was Stuey he would be tipping Rovers for the cup

Will be the first Cup final I've missed in a few years. Enjoy the day out at the venue formally known as Lansdowne Rd. Hopefully will catch a bit of it on the box and I'm going for Pat's to finally break their eternal cup hoodoo.

    Any news on tickets sales?
Heard Derry are expected to have about 8,000 heading down. Pat's sold out 3 blocks, which I'm estimating is about 3,500 sold at least on top of other sales.

3 blocks totally sold out with another 3 nearly sold out apparently. There was just over 16,000 at the 2012 final I reckon it will be lower this season even tho we've sold more so far than we did in 2012.

Derrys ticket sales were around 2,000 a few days ago. It's looking like it could be the smallest attendance for a final since moving back to Lansdowne.

Will any pubs in Britain (Birmingham, like O'Neill's or somewhere like that?) be showing the match? Or will I have to make do with RTE Player?

    Come on Derry!

Where are both sets of supporters located in Aviva Stadium? Anyone know where the designated neutral sections (if any) are?

I did say 'at the moment'. Dundalk deserved the league over the season.

So if Derry win it then they will be the best team "at the moment", I presume?
