Happy with that draw. Home advantage and Bohs will draw a crowd.

Disaster for us, leaves us with three away games in a row.

Would have said Shamrock Rovers v Shamrock Rovers Reserves to be honest.

That would have worked a lot (well a bit) better if there wasn't actually a Shamrock Rovers Reserves team in the league. There is a rather strong Shamrock Rovers connection running through our side. But as long as we don't have to take their fans.. ;-)

any confirmation on actual dates for these games? I can safely assume Rovers v us will be on the Friday night I imagine.
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

The draw was only made today so home clubs will have a bit of time to decide what suits them but I assume our game will be Friday. Can't see why it wouldn't be.

The First Division team are Shamrock Rovers B. They couldn't give them the tag of reserves as it's already been taken by Longford.

Not too worried about tomorrow given we have Shels away next week. If we don't get hammered and/or pick up injuries that'll do me. A bit of a gate would be nice too. Another welcome Dublin game for me though.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.

Should be a pretty good Rovers crowd what with Monday being called off and there only having been one home game this month. Hopefully there's a good Longford crowd down too. I reckon your lot will be up for it too with Ricer and Sully being Rovers legends.

Yeah should be a good Town crowd I'd say. We had a fair few there for the B team game a few weeks ago. A lot of Dublin based Town fans will probably turn out plus it's a handy trip from Longford for an 8.00 kick off. The players should all be up for it alright and a good performance could help them get over last week's game.

I think O'Sullivan could do very well against our defence and Cowan's pace could expose us. We've been vulnerable to counter attacks all season on account of not having much pace in the team, hence the poor home record, so Longford should be looking at it as a winnable game. I'd fancy us more in City Calling, to be honest. Will be interesting to see a player all the fans wanted to stay playing in midfield for the opposition. He'll certainly be given a warm reception regardless of what he does.

There's not a full back in the country that can deal with dons pace that's why it's so frustrating when he doesn't shuffle up his game and predictability becomes a huge issue. He will just attack the outside of the full back every time and while he might only break through a few times out of 10 his end ball then becomes an issue too as he can't seem to slow down enough to put in a measured cross, that's why all us town fans would love to see him playing in his natural position up front with O'Sullivan to see what he can really do, especially in a game like this tonight
