    Thumbs up well done city

speaking as a hardcore waterford fan i for one sincerly hope cork go and beat shels on friday and take the league title at the seasons end(even though you lads would be hard to listen to if you did it). Any provincial side that can break the dublin stranglehold on the league has to be good for the game. As you might expect from a blues fan i hate cork when we play you and always want to finish above you in the league but that said in europe i support all our clubs including yourselves. I was at the cross when you played malmo and thought it was one of the most professional performances by any eircom league club. tactics were spot on. We may be a bit behind you in terms of development, finance and support(our support leaves a lot to be desired even though we are working off a smaller pool than you we still should be able to get at least 4000 at home games which would maybe help fund a full time set up.)we have done fairly well since our return to the premier but with a public that are more interested in the english game and the media dont help much either its a constant battle. To win seven games on the spin is a great feat in a league as competitive as this so i think shels may just be feeling the heat from your'e form at the moment. Shels i think would be happy with a draw on friday which might give you the edge. dont slag me off if i'm boring you(still feeling the effects of throwing away the cup final).Best of luck. TWO TEAMS IN MUNSTER. cant beat munster derbys. SLAN...

Nice one suirsider. It's great to get a post from a Waterford fan that doesn't contain "Fatrick" and the usual sh*te.

I hope that things do not fall apart down there in the close season, and somebody gets a grip on the club and sorts it out.

Yes things looked well for Waterford pre season but ala Longford you guys never materialised into a league force?!

Crowds have a big part to play in that id say.Not all of us have the kind of money $hels do,so big crowds help a lot on the financial side of things, and i think both longford and waterford only get them for the big games.I know its kinda stating the obvious about finances but look at rovers situation, their performances are being affected by financial uncertainty aswell.
