Definitely twice as many Derry as Rovers but I wouldn't have the crowd that high.
A lot of things have changed since then thankfully

Yeah but that was always exaggeration. The figures never supported it. From what I can recall we got an initial allocation of about 5k, sold that out and then got about 500/700 more tickets on the Pats side of the ground from the FAI. Add in a fair number that bought in the neutral areas and I'd say it was between 6 and 7,000 LTFC fans imo.

1,100 in athlone apparently. There was about 500 or more from dundalk
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
Around 700 at the scene of the crime in United Park.
425 was the reported figure from Belfield, the vast majority from Cork.

Very very poor crowd at Finn Park on Sunday. Around 100 Longford fans there and not many more Harps.
Imagine that, a club that's just finished fifth in the league, with absolutely nothing to play for, on a Sunday afternoon at 3pm, while there's a full list of Donegal League and Inishowen League games going on at the same time, have a small crowd.
Beggars belief considering the huge draw Longford have for football fans across the country.
Shall I go back through the season when Longford were sitting up near the top of the table and getting crowds little over 200?

Bit antsy there Nigel for someone who's commented on pretty much every other club's crowds

Go on then, round up those comments for me. Stick it in a powerpoint presentation then if you will.
I comment on a lot of attendances simply because I keep figures for all the clubs, so I haste to say, I might notice any dip or rise in attendances for most clubs before others would.

Considering the size of the crowd Harps took to Pats the week before, it's a bit of a disgrace how few turned up on Sunday. Nothing but a crowd of bandwagonners.

It's been said several hundred times (probably) on this thread that no LOI club's fans are entitled to be sneering at other clubs' gates. They're nearly all **** was the common consensus. I'd agree with Dodge here that I don't think outspoken was getting at Harps as such. Especially after all ye've done for us lately!

All crowds are pathetic. Considering how popular football is in Ireland. Every club has a bandwagon when they have success. Its just how it is. Look at us last season, Longford this season, Dundalk etc etc
