irish star--mark mcadden
examiner---also conor george
Just as a matter of interest, who are the journalists who write eircom League for the various newspapers in this country. I am currently doing a project and would like to establish contact with some of them - it's related to my college thesis. Any help would be appreciated, I'm originally from the North so the only paper I really buy down here is the Irish News,
If someone could fill in the gaps I would appreciate it,

I think Billy George has recently retired from the Examiner.
I think Noel Spillane writes for the Examiner. He definitely writes for the Evening Echo.
Sunday Tribune has very poor coverage of the EL. Don't think they have a specific reporter assigned to the league.
I'm what? I'm ants at a picnic?
I think Malachy Clerkin usually covers the EL for the Sunday Tribune, although the coverage is rare.
Cork City: Making 'Dream Team' seem realistic since 2007.
Paul Dowling writes for the Bray People but he also writes for the Herald and Mirror as well sometimes.
They have a guy called Dermot Looney, who has written a few articles over the season, mostly to do with the European competitions and a piece on Sean Prunty and a preview of the FAI Cup Final last Sunday. Dreadful coverage though, mostly an egg chasing/Premiersh*t paper and the reason why I'm buying it less and less.Originally Posted by tiktok

How out of date is this content now? I know a few of them are still knockin' about alright.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Hasn't changed that much from what I can see. The Tribune, Star on Sunday, News of the World and Ireland on Sunday are all defunct.
Whatever happened to Tony D?
