    Thumbs up Youth Team

The Youth Teams are managed by John Coughlan, assisted by Stewart Burns, Liam Amphlett, Adrian Lynch & Eddie Ellard. Between them they are looking after the Under 17 & 18 teams. There are a number of very talented young players coming through on both of these teams and the best thing about it is that the majority of these players are from Cobh. There are also a number of excellent players from Midleton, Glanmire, Cork and Carrigaline also on these squads. The new LOI management, Stephen Henderson & Stephen Neiland are very proactive in developing the young players so soem of these young players can expect rapid elevation to the LOI squad over the next 12 months.

    Hi Eddie,

Just as a matter of interest do the underage commitee have a better working relationship with the senior commitee or is it still as bad as ever.

    New Management, New Attitudes

I would say from a personel point of view that ever since the departure of Dave Hill, who had no interest whatsoever in Schoolboys Football and the arrival of the new management that things have improved from that perspective. The relationship with the Senior Committee has improved dramatically also in recent months.
